Fedha na Biashara

Huduma mbalimbali zinazotolewa na zinazopatikana idara ya Fedha na Biashara ni;

• Elimu ya mlipa kodi ; Idara inatoa elimu hii kwa njia ya mbalimbali ikiwemo vipeperushi, matangazo kwenye redio,Televisheni na magazeti.
• Huduma za malipo mbalimbali ya watumishi na watoa huduma katika Halmashauri.
• Leseni za biashara mbalimbali katika Halmashauri zinapatikana katika kitengo cha biashara.
• Vitendea kazi vya kukusanyia mapato kama stakabadhi za kupokelea mapato, mashine za kielektroniki(POS Machine)
• Ukusanyaji wa vyanzo vyote vya mapato ya Halmashauri

Finance and Trade

This department is mainly involved in collection of revenue and allocation of funds to departments. The operations of finance are carried out in accordance with the Financial Acts, Memorandums as well as Public Procurement Act 2004 and Regulations.

Source of funds for the District Council are not only but mainly from Local revenue collections, grants from Central Government, grants from other donors and NGO's.

Due to its multiple responsibilites  the  department have been divided in subsection which are:

    1.Revenue
    2.Expenditure
    3.Final Account
    4.Salaries  

Apart from these, there are two divisions which work hand to hand with the department.These are Trade and Supplies.

Functions of Trade division

 To make sure Business Acts of 1972 is properly followed.
    To link between Small Entrepreneurs and Government.
    To provide certificate of Business merity to Entepreneurs.
    To make  writeups about Business Plan.
    To Provide Business Consultancy to stakeholders.
